Reginald Sylvester II (b. Jacksonville, NC, USA, 1987; lives and works in Jersey City, NJ) creates large-scale paintings and sculptures that trace the generative threshold between the two mediums. Working predominantly in abstraction, he expands the language of his painting practice by incorporating materials such as rubber, tarp, aluminium and steel. His singular approach lends his paintings a sculptural presence and imbues his sculptures with a painter's sensibility. While grounded in traditional painting techniques, Sylvester II ventures beyond the conventions of stretched canvas, working on surfaces that both absorb and reject paint. His layered, often multi-partite works investigate the language of his chosen mediums: stretcher bars are left exposed, becoming part of his compositions, while oxidised and patinated metal surfaces evoke the histories of gestural painting. Sylvester II also transcends the surface, creating monumental sculptures that reference forms observed through painting and from his environment. The artist is drawn to materials that relate to his personal history, spirituality, or broader societal narratives. In his approach to assemblage, Sylvester II appropriates byproducts of his making process, physically attaching studio debris to works to enrich their tactile quality and textural narrative.

Jan Gatewood is an American artist known for his mixed-media practice that challenges traditional notions of drawing, integrating elements of painting and collage. His work frequently employs animal figuration and a distinctive material palette, including unconventional substances like bleach and his own hair, to explore themes of race, identity, and the commodification of representation within the art world. Gatewood's approach is often characterized by a critical yet empathetic stance, using humor and accessible imagery to prompt discussions around complex social dynamics.

Zoé Blue M. is a Japanese-American painter, born in Toulon, France in 1994 and raised in Los Angeles. Her multi-cultural identity hugely influences her images, incorporating the visual landscapes and histories found in and throughout Los Angeles, Japan, and the south of France. By referencing all facets of inspiration from her life, whether it be textiles, pop culture, painting or folkloric tales, the amalgamation results in a broad and rich lexicon from which to pull. Through this, she employs a meditative investigation of muti-cultural psychology and womanhood through the examination of the history of painting and printmaking, materiality, and folklore, as well as spiritual and intellectual philosophies. Most often the groundwork for her paintings refers to personal memories and the communities that she is a part of, bringing in aspects from people in her life. Through her large-scale acrylic paintings, she hopes to address these ideas holistically and to find a harmony within the dissonance that can occur between many contradicting thoughts.

Devin B. Johnson (b. 1992, Los Angeles) obtained his BA in Fine Arts from the California State University of Channel Islands (2015) and received a Masters of Fine Arts at Pratt Institute (2019). In addition to winning the Pratt Alumni Achievement Award in 2024, Johnson was named and Artist-in-Residence for Fountainhead, Miami (2023), he was selected as an Artsy Vanguard (2022), named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Art and Design (2022) list, was included in Cultured's "Young Artists 2021,"" and was one of sixteen artists from around the world selected for the inaugural year of the Black Rock Senegal residency (2020). Keita Shirayama was born in 1986 in Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture. His works depict imaginary scenes inspired by his childhood memories in a nature-rich environment. His art inspired from deeply ingrained memories of landscapes, sensations, colors, and scenes he experienced in the past. These memories, connected to life and death, emotions, and the cycle of existence, serve as the foundation for his creations. The transience of life, the fleeting nature of existence, and the perpetual cycle of life and death are themes that resonate in Shirayama's work. The ephemerality of all living things, the constant change, aging, and renewal, are aspects that deeply affect his artistic perspective. Growing up surrounded by nature influences his perception of landscapes, plants, and the gradual passage of time. The unique strokes and delicate colors in his oil paintings capture the powerful vitality of life, the poignant essence of finite existence, and the ceaseless flow of time. His paintings evoke a sense of familiarity, resembling memories or dreams, connecting viewers to a world where people, animals, landscapes, and scenes intermittently evoke a mysterious sensation of life and death. The charm of his art expands through this enigmatic connection, creating a captivating allure for those who observe it.

VERDY is a graphic artist from Osaka, Japan, currently based in Tokyo. He is widely recognized for his influential projects Girls Don't Cry and Wasted Youth, as well as his original characters Vick and Visty. His work spans across art, fashion, and culture, partnering with global brands such as Nike, HumanMade, Kenzo, Instagram, Levi's, Louis Vuitton, and Dover Street Market, among many others. Beyond his role as a graphic artist, Verdy serves as Editor-in-Chief and founder of Thirty3 Magazine, a lifestyle publication centering the new generation of creatives. In 2023, he also founded Henry's Pizza, a New York style pizza shop and cultural space in Osaka that hosts exhibitions and events with artists from all over the world.

Jaynard Caparoso is a Los Angeles-based self-taught oil painter whose work explores realism through dark, atmospheric imagery heavily inspired by chiaroscuro, tenebrism and surrealism. Utilizing his extensive background in graphic design, he brings a cinematic approach to composition, light, and visual storytelling. His paintings often center on human figures and symbolic objects, examining themes of mortality, isolation, and the tension between beauty and decay. Through layered oil techniques and dramatic contrasts of light and shadow, Jaynard creates work that feels both intimate and unsettling, bridging classical influence with contemporary darkness.

Cam Hicks is a multi-disciplinary artist by way of Virginia, currently based in Los Angeles. Through the mediums of photo, moving image, and creative direction - HE has been able to become a storyteller across music, fashion, and the art space. After producing his photo memoir in 2019 'For The Porch', Cam has gone on to work alongside the late Virgil Abloh & Louis Vuitton, Tyler, the Creator, A$AP Rocky, Doechii, Lil Yachty and directorial work for Stone Island, Jordan Brand, Marshall Speakers, and many more. Most recently, Hicks released "PROOF", a book originally as an impromptu resume piece, but second to be brought to the world - Hicks currently is focused on more tangible pieces while continuing his works as a creative director, and photographer.

Coco is a Spanish-born London based artist known for her artistic and design work across different paths, practices and media. She likes making things, painting, thinking, writing, photography, listening to others, finding solutions to problems, making books, arranging spaces, mixing music, designing and exhibitions, among other things. She was born in Seville in 1992, and moved to London at the age of 17, where she studied Photography at the University of Arts of London and majored as MA Fine Art Photography at the Royal College of Art.

Aijani Payne (b. Hampton, VA) is a Brooklyn based photographer. He studied photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Shooting for publications and brands his images consist of distinct coloring and abstract posing of his subjects. Take his solo exhibition in 2019 "Everything but high fashion" which presents a series of abstract macro shots of everyday surroundings that are not focused on enough but have absurd amounts of beauty. The title of the show refers to how Aijani is not a photographer who focuses on just fashion but an artist who is taking steps of presenting the abstract world he views.

Alake Shilling is a Los Angeles-based painter and sculptor who creates characters inspired by childhood craft aesthetics and popular imagery, including Lisa Frank. Unlike idealized sources, her figures are imperfect and convey emotion through an ongoing dialogue with the artist. Influenced by nature and disco-era visual culture, she develops a personal vocabulary of animals and plush-like forms that balance comfort with the human condition. Shilling begins with sketches and completes her paintings through a slow, reflective process guided by the work itself.

Shaniqwa Jarvis is an artist celebrated for blending modern photographic sensibilities with emotionally resonant portraiture. Her practice often extends beyond photography into textiles, painting, and collage, creating layered works that feel like extensions of herself-conveying raw emotion, vulnerability, and a shimmering optimism. She has exhibited internationally in London, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and New York, with recent exhibitions including If You Could See My Thoughts, You Would See Your Faces at Anthony Gallery in Chicago, as well as Sleep to Dream and Everywhere You Go, There You Are. Her self-titled debut book chronicles two decades of her evolving archive. Jarvis has photographed cultural figures and collaborated with brands to bring her artwork into new spaces, expanding the reach of her practice across art, fashion, and contemporary culture. Her work is also part of the permanent collections at LACMA, MOCA, and The Hammer Museum via the joint MAC3 fund.

Diana Yesenia Alvarado is a sculptor whose ceramic practice is grounded in process, intuition and material transformation. Her hand-built forms emerge through a tactile relationship with clay, where surface and repetition give shape to memory, identity and change. Informed by the cultural textures of East and South Los Angeles, Alvarado's work moves between figuration and abstraction. Her sculptures incorporate distortion, rhythm and animated gesture, shaping a visual language that is both personal and collective. Through her practice, she creates forms that hold presence, intimacy and force. Her work has been exhibited at Jeffrey Deitch (Los Angeles and New York), the Rubell Museum (Miami), and the Museum of Arts and Design (New York).

Raina Lee is a second generation Taiwanese-American artist working in sculpture and ceramic installation. She is known for her experimental glazes and painterly applications of glaze. In her current practice, she combines sculpture and ceramic glaze as a new language of painting. She revisits significant moments in art history through the lens of her personal encounters with art works, memory, and place. Her work explores ways non-Western cultures and art practices have influenced the Western art canon. She is interested in tracing Asian diaspora, displacement, and the erosion of time through a material practice. Raina began in clay making functional ceramics at a pottery studio in Brooklyn, and has gone on to master glaze chemistry as well as studying material processes, from weaving, basketry, glass casting, raku, and 3-D clay printing. For most of her career she has worked as a writer, author of Hit Me With Your Best Shot: The Ultimate Guide To Karaoke Domination (Chronicle Books) and feminist video game critic and print zine publisher of 1-Up MegaZine in the mid 2000s, which was sold worldwide and established a cult following. Raina grew up between Taiwan and her parent's pizzaria in Torrance, California. Her work is in the collections of the Harvard Art Museum and will be part of an exhibition in 2026 about Chinese art and material culture. She has been featured in publications worldwide, including The New York Times: T Magazine, Los Angeles Times, Surface Magazine, Hyperallergic, and MilK Decoration. She graduated with a Bachelor's from the University of California, Davis and a Master's in Film and Media Studies from the New School, New York. She lives in Mount Washington, Los Angeles with a treehouse full of ceramics in her backyard.
