About working to protect the global environment

2019.06.04

GYRE has begun purchasing green power certificates to reduce its load on the environment. This new initiative ensures that part of GYRE’s power usage is covered by green power from megasolar projects, starting April 2019.

In addition to using solar power, GYRE is reducing its carbon footprint by taking power from electric utilities that generate power using LNG (liquefied natural gas), which produces fewer CO2 emissions than oil, and biomass, a renewable carbon-neutral resource. These initiatives have enabled GYRE to achieve a 15% reduction in annual carbon emissions.

GYRE is committed to continue working to protect the global environment.
