The interior of the restaurant is constructed with
lacquered wooden beams and pillars from
a 150-year-old merchant’s house in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture,
providing an imposing context.
This Japanese style is complemented by the Western style of the lounge,
which boasts art nouveau furnishings.
The windows ensure a clear view of Tokyo’s scenery, especially after dark.

Omotesando Ukai-Tei is the place to go to for hot griddle cuisine
featuring the highest quality black beef and carefully selected seasonal ingredients
from around the world, which can be enjoyed at the Chef’s Table.
Its refined setting is the work of many highly-skilled artisans.
Entering the restaurant, you enter a magnificent space outlined by lacquered beams and pillars
from a 150 year-old merchant’s house in Kanazawa,
along with walls finished in vermillion bengara plaster.
Seven rooms for private dining each have their own style,
including a room featuring a morning glory fresco,
and a room with glass art by René Lalique placed close to the dining area.
The seats at the curving counter overlooking Omotesando glitter with a mosaic
using the wave crest pattern of old Japan as its motif.
After your meal, you are invited to move on to the art nouveau style lounge,
passing through a corridor where a collection of perfume bottles is displayed.
The combination of the beautiful glossiness of art nouveau and oriental ambience
provide a relaxing atmosphere that you can enjoy to your heart’s content.
